Utility Rebate Program Changes for 2018

Throughout the year, there are seemingly endless changes taking place within utility rebate programs. Sometimes they are to an individual product type, allowing incentives for something they hadn’t previously or altering the standards to qualify for these rebates. Sometimes the changes are to the entire rebate program, switching over to a new program year and overhauling their rebate submission process or program altogether.

The most popular date for these changes to take place is on January 1st. From changes in rebate amounts to new submission guidelines or qualification standards, we’ve found throughout the years that this is the date when the most changes are likely to take place.

In February, we documented some of the major program changes that had taken place at the start of 2017. Here's an article that will give you an idea of the kind of program updates January 1, 2018 could have in store.

Worried you won’t be able to keep up with all of the program changes? The Encentivizer™ tools can save you the headache! Our system will be fully updated with all program changes so you won’t need to worry about doing the research yourself!
