Product Update: Integral Controls for Manufacturer Tools

Written by Kelli DeThomas | March 25, 2026

As we continue to innovate to keep up with industry trends, we have expanded our integral control rebate functionality to provide more accurate rebate estimation to match your environment’s control settings. Fine-tune rebate estimates for your lighting products with integral controls by setting your control conditions and existing conditions. You will also be able to set a control savings factor percentage for energy savings, where applicable. This new feature will be available to you on Friday, March 27th.

Rebate Finder

In our Rebate Finder tool, you will find all of your control condition settings in the new Control tab. You can set conditions for Occupancy Sensing, Daylight Harvesting, Networked, and Luminaire-Level Lighting Controls (LLLC). Traditionally, LLLC will encompass all of these, so using this selection acts as a ‘select all’. Some programs may also require information about existing fixtures; this can also be found in the Control tab.

Once your conditions are set, your rebate values will update if the products in the catalog are integral control capable and the program offers additional incentives for these conditions.

Payback Calculator

In our Payback Calculator, you can find the same control condition selector by using the action button in the top right corner of the widget (the wireless icon).  Any control settings will be applied to the whole project, not line-by-line. In addition to the control selector, you will also be able to add a Control Energy Savings percentage. This will be factored into the energy savings calculation for your project.

Set your control conditions and finish your project scope to see your rebate estimates. If the products in your scope are integral control capable, and the program offers additional incentives for these conditions, you will see the values change. Don’t forget to check instant (midstream) programs for integral control incentives.

More Programs to Come

Our integral control rebate feature has required additional data updates, so our team has been updating our database. While most of this data is already available to explore, you may see a few more programs added in the coming weeks. New programs will also be added as utilities implement more incentives for this technology.  Don’t forget to check both streams when exploring programs; many instant (midstream) programs offer additional incentives for integral controls.
