Special savings for customers of First Energy

FirstEnergy’s Pennsylvania utilities (Met-Ed, Penelec, Penn Power, and West Penn Power) are offering a bonus rebate of $.02 per kWh saved to Governmental, Institutional, and Non-Profit customers only.

Combing the standard $.05 per kWh rebate plus a bonus of $.02 per kWh saved on all lighting and non-lighting projects means a total rebate of $.07 per kWh.

Don't wait! Pre-approval is required and the bonus rebate period ends April 30, 2015. Prescriptive measures are not eligible for the bonus rebate.

Lighting Retrofit Case Study  
 Let's look at the savings for a typical T12 to T8 retrofit

Number of Fixtures Replaced: 500  
 kWh Savings: 61,608kWh  
 Peak kW Savings: 23.8kW

Rebate: $3,080  
 Bonus: $1,232  
 PJM (over 4 years): $1,489  
 Total Incentives $5,801
